Google Stays Ahead of Silicon Valley Pack on Engineer Salaries (According to the study, Google software engineers earn an average base salary of $128,336, ahead of Facebook’s $123,626. Apple Inc. registered at $114,413 this year, the study says, while eBay Inc. pays $108,809 and Zynga Inc. stands at $105,568)
In the US, Samsung owes Apple more than $US1 billion, but in the UK, Apple owes Samsung a public apology, with claims that that Apple was not the first to design a tablet with a rectangular shape and rounded corners and that the origins of Apple's registered design features can be found in numerous examples of prior art.
